The Senior District Manager – Five Guys Operations International is responsible for leading brand standards at restaurants for Five Guys Operations in assigned area. This position is responsible for demonstrating and providing in-depth operational knowledge and coaching of Five Guys Restaurant Operations to District Managers and Restaurant Managers of company owned restaurants in assigned area. 

This position will be responsible for achieving outstanding customer experiences in all assigned restaurants while developing, coaching and mentoring restaurant level managers to achieve the same level of success. The Senior District Manager – FGO International directs, implements, publicizes and administers operations strategies to ensure the achievement of organizational goals and objectives in assigned area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining brand standards at all Corporate restaurant operations in assigned area.
• Performs weekly operational evaluations and offers daily written and face to face feedback on restaurant operations.
• Assists Regional Manager, Vice President of Operations APAC and FGO International in operating profitable businesses.
• Trains and develops all management personnel.
• Oversight to ensure units are properly staffed and have a solid plan for the week.
• Responsible for clear, accurate and timely communications from FGO International to the restaurants.
• Responsible for following and promoting all company policies.
• Demonstrates in-depth operational knowledge and trains others in Five Guys Restaurant Operations.
• Demonstrates a passion for restaurant operations and the Five Guys Brand. Contributes to the overall improvement of the FGO team as well as individual team members. Conducts and presents self with poise, integrity and professionalism.
• Provides leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and a commitment to company objectives. Creates atmosphere of “Esprit de Corps”.
• Ensures the correct inventory levels are kept and all equipment is maintained in excellent condition.
• Assists Regional Manager in executing accurate P&L and budgeting activities and achievement of assigned targets.

Education/Experience:
• 4-year college Degree preferred
• 5+ years of multi-unit food service experience with a similar scope of responsibilities. Equivalent life experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in Profit and Loss Statements with analytical expertise to identify financial trends.

Language Ability:
This position requires excellent written, verbal and group communication skills. This position also requires the ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents. This individual may need to communicate in a language other than English, within the assigned territory.  

Math Ability:
This position requires excellent business math skills as well as the ability to analyze P and L’s for financial trends.

Reasoning Ability:
The position requires pragmatic analyzing skills and problem-solving abilities.

Computer Skills:
Exceptional computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and other appropriate software.

This position requires supervisory responsibilities

Physical Demands:
This position may require long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, as well as time spent in stores experiencing moderate to oud noises, varying temperature conditions and possible direct exposure to hazardous substances, such as hot oil. May be required to stand for long periods or use a stepladder. There may also be extensive lifting of supplies and materials. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required. 

Travel will be required 80% of time.
